Summer Solstice
German Title: Sommersonnenwende
The summer solstice is the day with the longest period of sunshine and marks the beginning of the year of the Twelve Gods. It is therefore traditionally celebrated as the highest festival of the sun god Praios with homage and processions in which golden statues of griffins are shown. In general, the order intended by the gods is emphasized.
In Myranor the day is celebrated as a sun day, also in honor of Braian.
In the Principality of Kosch the day is known as Praioswend.
Many shamanic cultures also celebrate this day.
